MLB HR props for Monday 8/28: Price is nice for Bryce

Football is finally here, but that doesn't mean we have to stop firing on MLB props. There's a ton of value all over the board Monday night, so let's attack with my three favorite home run props for the loaded slate. 

Bryce Harper (+350 FanDuel)

Los Angeles Angels starter Lucas Giolito has surrendered seven home runs in five starts with his new team, and he's in danger of giving up multiple long balls Monday night. The Philadelphia Phillies have already set a franchise record for home runs in a month in August, plus there's a projected 20 percent boost to home runs at Citizens Bank Park due to the wind blowing out to left field (Ballpark Pal). As for the specific pick, Bryce Harper is batting .439 with five homers over his last 43 at-bats. He shouldn't be priced this high to go yard on a hitter-friendly night.

Garrett Cooper (+560 FD)

Garrett Cooper is the hottest hitter in the San Diego Padres' lineup right now. The first baseman is batting .355 with a .977 OPS over his last 11 games, and he's staring down a great matchup Monday night. St. Louis Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright has surrendered 24 earned runs and four homers over his last four starts. In 10 career plate appearances against the veteran, Cooper is batting .625 with two doubles and a home run. This is well worth a sprinkle at +560.

Ronald Acuna Jr. (+320 DraftKings)

What do you get when you combine the best power-hitting lineup in MLB with the Rocky Mountain air at Coors Field? That's right. Dingers, dingers, and more dingers.

Let's roll with Ronald Acuna Jr., who's hitting .316 against left-handed pitching with a .934 OPS this season. The NL MVP favorite has faced Colorado Rockies starter Austin Gomber just six times, but his only hit against the lefty was a home run. This price should be under +300 at the most friendly hitter's park in the league.
