How the Pittsburgh Pirates’ farm teams fared on Sunday:

TRIPLE-A INDIANAPOLIS (36-43): Lost at Louisville 7-4. Jared Jones started and had a no-decision, allowing four runs and six hits in 4.2 innings with eight strikeouts and two walks. Cody Bolton (1-3) was the losing pitcher, giving up two runs in one inning. Chris Owings had two hits, including a double. Miguel Andujar, Canaan Smith-Njigba and Aaron Shackleford also had two hits each.

DOUBLE-A ALTOONA (36-37): Won at Harrisburg 2-0. Aaron Shortridge (4-5) pitched five scoreless innings, giving up two hits while striking out nine and walking two. Noe Toribino worked two scoreless innings for his third save and Grant Ford and Cameron Junker also pitched one inning of the three-hit shutout. Mason Martin hit his 14th home run of the season as he had two hits and drove in both the game’s runs.

HIGH-A GREENSBORO (37-36): Lost at Hickory 8-7. J.P. Massey started and had a no-decision, allowing two runs (one earned) and three hits in four innings with two walks and one strikeout. Valentin Linarez (0-4) was the losing pitcher, giving up one unearned run 0.1 inning. Wyatt Hendrie had three hits and three RBIs, including a two-run home run, his third of the season. Jace Bowen had three hits, including a triple. Tres Gonzalez had two hits.

SINGLE-A BRADENTON (39-34): Lost to Clearwater 9-6. Wil Crowe started and had a no-decision as he began a rehab assignment, working one scoreless inning and getting two fly outs and one ground out. Darvin Garcia was the losing pitcher, allowing four runs in 0.1 inning. Jonah Sightler hit his first two home runs of the season and drove in five runs.
